SmartFAB Intelligent Printing and Packaging Factory Management System for a Smoother Path of Intelligent Transformation of the Printing Industry!

At present, there is a certain basis for information technology construction in various industries, but given the differences in industry attributes, the maturity of smart factories varies greatly between different industries, for example, the automotive and electronics manufacturing industries are developing faster, while traditional manufacturing industries such as printing and textiles are developing relatively slowly. Some companies have acted to make some digital and intelligent attempts, but the effect is not as expected. So the question is: What exactly is a smart factory? How should it be done?
LUSTER has been working in the field of printing inspection for more than 20 years. Combining the industry service experience accumulated over the years, LUSTER starts from deconstructing the whole process of printing industry, digging deeper into the underlying needs and launching SmartFAB intelligent printing and packaging factory management system for printing industry.
SmartFAB is an intelligent factory system based on enterprise digitalization, data-driven, knowledge mapping as the core, and the integration of the two as the path, helping enterprises to build an efficient, high quality, accurate and transparent intelligent factory. The overall planning of the intelligent factory is divided into three main layers:
ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning): ERP is mainly responsible for processing, collecting and analyzing information of internal supply chain, master data, material demand and finance of the enterprise. At the same time, the information such as order planning and master data is passed to MES and other execution systems for overall planning of production and operation of the enterprise.
MES (Manufacturing Execution System) & WMS (Warehouse Management System) System: MES takes production planning and production execution as the main line, executes the actual production plan, manages related equipment and personnel. WMS mainly manages the materials in production and inventory, and serves the actual production and internal supply chain material demand efficiently and quickly.
Data acquisition and linkage: Receiving operation instruction requirements from MES and WMS layers, guiding the control and drive of automation layers, and ensuring correct production and material movement. At the same time, the task result data generated by hardware equipment or material movement is fed back to execution systems such as MES and WMS.
